We finally got around to adding the T-Track and a new wasteboard to the Onefinity CNC! Our X-Carve had a threaded insert wasteboard and we wanted to change it up and try out the t-track system, and so far I’m liking it. We just need more accessories… We’ll give you a quick break down on how we added the T-Track and a fresh wasteboard with a super fancy grid pattern!
Things you’ll need:
- T-Track : 4 Pack https://amzn.to/3eqa7sr
- 2 Pack https://amzn.to/2zsTkGD
- Self Centering Bit: https://amzn.to/2ZKfGxV

Step 1: Find your actual cut area
I jogged the machine around the outside of its cut area making marks at its max reach.
Step 2: Add T-Tracks to the outside of the cut area
Step 3: Find the center of your cut area
Make sure to make a mark on the front and back of the machine ensuring your T-Tracks are straight.
Step 4: Add the remaining tracks
Step 5: Measure and add your MDF wasteboard
Step 6: Attach MDF pieces
Make sure your screw holes are counter sunk deep enough so they won’t be in the way of cutting or surfacing your waste board.
Step 7: You’re done! We went ahead and engraved a grid in ours!
